During times of great challenges is when the body of Christ gets to reflect its true essence and be the true witnesses of His love we were called to be.
There’s a lot that Israel as a nation has had on its plate over the last few years. It’s important to remember that behind the headlines and the news, there are people, faces, and stories. There are individuals and families whose lives have been turned upside down and are trying to find their footing, whether as recent immigrants, vulnerable elderly Holocaust survivors, or small children that have to live in stressful circumstances hoping for a brighter tomorrow.
We, as a congregation in Israel, have been issued a challenge while witnessing these struggles. Our challenge is to show love and care through practical help where it is most needed and at a time when it is most needed.
On this eve of Rosh Hashanah and High Holidays in Israel, so many families find themselves in need of even the most basic things, like food for the holidays.
Knowing what the biblical feasts are all about, and how they are aimed at bringing families together to celebrate God’s goodness and mercy, our goal is to ensure we leave no family hungry during this Rosh Hashanah and holiday season.
Our teams have been hard at work: purchasing and assembling food packets, putting together essentials for Israeli families in need, as well as keeping our humanitarian distribution center operating around the clock.

For $30 you can provide a family with a nutritious food basket, containing essential non-perishable food items. To be able to feed one family is such an amazing blessing, but then imagine stretching your generosity to help feed 10 families for a donation of $300, or 100 families for a gift of $3000.
Your gifts go a long way because God can multiply any seed. He isn’t looking at the gift but at our hearts. We want to make sure we do as much as possible for as many people as possible with the resources God provides us through your generosity.
