Pastor Israel takes us to the desert through the lesson about the snake in Numbers. Listen to the Hebrew!

Trusting God in the Wilderness

After the miraculous defeat of King of Arad, the Israelites once again, began grumbling and complaining. Despite witnessing God’s intervention, they focused on their difficulties instead of trusting in The Lord’s continued faithfulness. This lack of trust opened the door to adversity, and venomous snakes began to bite the people. In desperation, the Israelites acknowledged their sin and asked Moses to intercede. Moses prayed, and God provided an unusual solution: a bronze serpent on a pole. Anyone who looked at it in faith was healed and restored.

Fix Our Eyes
This story carries a timeless lesson for us today. Like the Israelites, we sometimes fall into the trap of complaining, even after just experiencing God’s blessings. However, just as God provided a way for Israel’s healing, He has also given us the ultimate answer to our “snake bites” in His Son, Yeshua. When we lift our eyes to Yeshua, who bore

our pain and sufferings on the cross, His grace is sufficient to redeem us from our sins and heal all our wounds.

“And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes
on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” Hebrews 12:2.
