Return of the Gospel
The message was rejected by the people over 2000 years ago, has now returned for the people of Israel to hear and receive. It is the Gospel message of Yeshua (Jesus) their Savior and Messiah.
Tourists from all over the world to are coming to see Jerusalem and explore its unique historical beauty. It’s wonderful to see these people desire to draw closer to Jesus by visiting the place where He and His disciples walked. But when local Israelis come to Jerusalem with the sole purpose of hearing the Gospel — the power of God starts working in an amazing way; transforming lives wherever He moves.
At our latest evangelism event held in Jerusalem at the end of July, we had 460 local non-believing Israelis come to hear the gospel for the first time. The majority were recently arrived Olim (immigrants) that returned to the land of Israel from Ukraine and Russia. These are the people God spoke about through His prophets:
“I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth.”
Jeremiah 31:8
It is truly a touching moment to see people arrive in Jerusalem, some for the first time, to hear the Gospel that was first proclaimed here. Before the evangelism event, they were taken to many of the historical sites in Jerusalem where Jesus and his disciples had met and where many miracles were performed. They were amazed to realize that this Jesus that they believed “belonged to the Christians, was actually a Jewish-born Israeli like themselves.
At the evangelism event, David Herzog delivered a compelling message that touched the hearts of many. We saw an overwhelming response from people whose eyes were unveiled to the revelation and divinity of Yeshua. Here was the Messiah they had been searching for, and He was waiting for them to open their hearts to Him. Many experienced the miraculous power of healing and found salvation in the open arms of the Savior.
