Across Israel, pastors and ministry leaders faithfully serve their communities week after week. They preach the Word, disciple believers, care for families, pray for those in need, and help people navigate both spiritual and practical challenges. While much of their work happens in public view, the personal sacrifices and responsibilities they carry are often unseen.
Like shepherds everywhere, ministry leaders need times of encouragement, renewal, and fellowship. This is one of the reasons gatherings such as the Maagan Pastoral Conference are so valuable.
The Hebrew word Maagan means “harbor”—a place of refuge, rest, and shelter. In the coming days, pastors, ministry leaders, and their families from across Israel will gather on the shores of the Sea of Galilee to step away from the demands of ministry and spend time being refreshed in the presence of the Lord.
For many families serving in ministry, opportunities like this are rare. Much of their lives are spent investing in others, often placing the needs of those they serve ahead of their own. The conference provides a much-needed opportunity to rest, reconnect, build relationships, and receive encouragement alongside fellow believers who understand both the joys and challenges of ministry in Israel.
Friendships will be strengthened. New partnerships will be formed. Leaders will worship together, pray for one another, and share the lessons God has taught them through different seasons of ministry. Most importantly, many will leave reminded that they are part of something larger than their own congregation or community—the growing Body of Messiah throughout the Land.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the conference is the opportunity to witness the unity that exists among believers in Israel. Jewish and Arab pastors, ministry leaders, and their families will gather together as brothers and sisters in Yeshua, united by a shared faith and a shared calling.
In a region often associated with division and conflict, their fellowship provides a powerful testimony to the reconciling work of the Messiah. Different backgrounds, languages, and cultures are not erased; rather, they are brought together under a greater identity found in Yeshua. As these leaders worship, pray, and encourage one another, they demonstrate the very message of hope, reconciliation, and unity that they share with their communities throughout the year.
This unity is especially significant in Israel today.
Through seasons of uncertainty, conflict, and rapid change, ministry leaders continue serving faithfully, helping people encounter the hope found in God. Their work strengthens congregations, supports families, disciples believers, and creates opportunities for the Gospel to reach new hearts throughout the country.
As the Maagan Conference approaches, we invite you to stand with these leaders and their families. Your partnership helps provide an opportunity for them to receive encouragement, build meaningful relationships, and return to their communities refreshed and strengthened for the season ahead.
Many of these men and women spend their lives pouring into others. Through your generosity, you can help create a space where they themselves can be renewed, equipped, and encouraged.
If you would like to help sponsor a pastor or ministry family to attend the conference, we invite you to prayerfully consider making a gift today. Together, we can strengthen those who faithfully strengthen others and continue investing in the leaders God is using to advance His Kingdom throughout Israel.
Thank you for standing with Voice of Judah Israel and helping support the pastors, leaders, and families who serve across the Land.
