Where the Word Comes Alive:
Raising Israel’s Next Generation in Yeshua

One afternoon, after hiking through the Judean wilderness, a group of young believers stood together with open Bibles in their hands.

The hike had already been memorable, but now something deeper was taking place. Questions were being asked. Connections were being made. Passages they had read many times suddenly carried new meaning as they looked across the very land where so much of biblical history unfolded.

This is what happens when the Word of God comes alive.

It was also a beautiful reminder of why investing in Israel’s next generation is so important.

Through our Summer Youth Discipleship project, young believers from across Israel are coming together to grow in God’s Word, serve those in need, and build friendships rooted in their shared faith in Yeshua.

Only two weeks into this journey, we are already seeing encouraging signs of spiritual growth. It is not happening through one dramatic event, but through the many ordinary moments God is using to shape young hearts.

Discipleship often happens this way—one conversation, one prayer, and one act of obedience at a time.

One day, the young people are walking through places they have known only from Scripture. The next, they are packing food boxes for families in need and discovering that faith is not merely something we study—it is something we live.

In the evenings, they gather for worship and prayer. They open the Scriptures together, share what God is placing on their hearts, and continue conversations long after the guitars have been put away.

In these moments, something beautiful begins to happen.

Young people who arrived barely knowing one another begin to feel like family. They encourage each other, ask honest questions, wrestle with Scripture, and grow in confidence as they discover what it means to follow Yeshua—not only during a youth gathering, but in every area of life.

For young believers growing up in Israel, this kind of community is especially precious. They face many pressures and competing voices concerning their faith, identity, and future. They need strong biblical foundations, godly mentors, and faithful friends who will encourage them to stand firm.

This is why discipleship is not optional. It is essential.

God is raising up a new generation in Israel—young men and women who know who they are in Yeshua, love His Word, serve others with compassion, and are prepared to carry the Good News into their families, congregations, workplaces, and communities.

Each individual moment may appear small. A conversation during a hike. A prayer shared between friends. A box of food packed for a struggling family. A passage of Scripture understood in a new way.

Yet when these moments are brought together, they become part of something much greater. They are helping form a generation whose faith is genuine, active, and deeply rooted in the truth of God’s Word.

Scripture reminds us:

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

We hold firmly to this promise. Discipleship is rarely built through dramatic moments alone. More often, it grows through faithful investment, consistent encouragement, personal mentoring, and countless conversations that God uses over time.

This is the heart of our Summer Youth Discipleship project. We are creating a safe and encouraging place where young people can encounter God, study His Word, experience the land of the Bible, serve others, and build Christ-centered friendships that will continue long after the summer ends.

We believe the young people being discipled today will become tomorrow’s parents, ministry leaders, pastors, missionaries, and faithful servants of the Kingdom. What is planted in their hearts now can bear fruit for generations.

Would you prayerfully consider sowing into this vital work?

Your generosity helps provide biblical teaching, personal mentoring, meals, transportation, outreach opportunities, and a safe environment where young believers can grow deeply in their relationship with the Lord.

Your partnership is more than an investment in a summer program. It is an investment in the spiritual future of Israel.

Please also stand with us in prayer:

  • Pray that these young people will draw closer to the Lord and become firmly established in His Word.
  • Pray that they will know their identity

Thank you and God bless you!
