Where Walls Fall

Jewish–Arab Reconciliation Conference in Eilat

In a world growing louder, more divided, and weary from conflict, God continues writing a very different story inside Israel — one many outside the region rarely see. It is the story of Jewish and Arab believers worshiping the same Messiah, raising their children in faith rather than fear, and choosing forgiveness as an act of courage, obedience, and hope.

As this year draws to a close, we are preparing for one of the most meaningful gatherings in the Land — a Jewish–Arab Reconciliation Conference, this time taking place in Eilat, where the desert meets the Red Sea and hearts often open in unexpected ways.

A Side of Israel the World Rarely Sees

Most people never imagine that more than two million Israeli Arabs live in Israel — learning, working, raising families, and often walking the same streets we do every day. Among them are precious brothers and sisters in Yeshua: pastors, worship leaders, evangelists, youth ministers, and families faithfully serving God right here in the Land.

These are the men and women who will join us in Eilat — not as visitors, but as family. Far from the tensions and the headlines, we gather to worship in Hebrew and Arabic, to share meals, to listen, to pray, and to allow the love of Christ to heal places politics never could.

This is where walls fall…hearts soften…and the Kingdom shines brighter than the conflict around us.

Why Reconciliation Matters So Deeply

For some families, reconciliation begins by overcoming fear. For others, it begins with hearing someone from “the other side” speak of the same faith, the same hope, the same Savior.

Pastor Israel often shares how, during the Second Intifada, even his young son developed fear toward Arabs after watching the news. That fear wasn’t broken by arguments or explanations — it was broken through relationship. At a similar Jewish–Arab retreat by the Sea of Galilee, his son met Arab children not as “enemies,” but as friends he could play, swim, and laugh with.

That moment changed his life and shaped the kind of pastor, husband, and father he would one day become. This is the power of reconciliation: Fear gives way to love. Love gives way to friendship. Friendship becomes a testimony of the Gospel.

“Perfect love drives out fear.”

1 John 4:18

A Light We Must Continue to Carry

With so much hatred and misinformation spreading today, gatherings like these are more important than ever. Reconciliation is not a side project — it is central to the heart of the Gospel.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”

Matthew 5:9

Yet, each year, the cost of hosting these retreats grows. Every congregation already supports its own group, but we want to ensure that every pastor, every wife, every young leader, and every child — Jewish and Arab — can be part of this life-changing time.

We cannot do this alone. We need partners who believe in what God is doing and will stand with us to see the act of healing begin.
