Hope For Their Future
Imagine leaving the only life you knew to start over in a new country. The first day of school is an exciting time for many kids. For children of families who have made Aliyah (immigration) to Israel in the last year, it is an overwhelming time filled with uncertainty. These children are starting school soon in a new country with a completely different language and culture. If that was not challenging enough, they are living below the poverty level and have no way to purchase necessary books and supplies to start the school year. These children just hope their parents can somehow find a way to get them what they need to start the new school year. Going to school can provide normalcy and they want to believe they have hope for a new life and future in Israel.
“First time to School in Israel” is aimed at supporting newly immigrated families with young children by blessing them with school supplies and backpacks before the start of the school year on Sept. 1. The testimonies we heard last year were incredibly moving. Single mothers thanked us with tears in their eyes because their prayers were answered. Their kids were blessed with the backpacks and school supplies they were previously unable purchase.
Time is running out! We need your help. We only have two weeks left until school starts. We want to be able to sponsor 30 Israeli children (Roksolana, Vipa, Lavi, Zoryana, Yosef, Bohdan, Noam, Ivanna, Tamar, Mykhailo, Noa, Vira, Moshe, Artem, Chana, Danilo, Shira, Aleksander, Rivka, Lera, Shmuel, Lilya, Roni, Nastya, Noya, Dasha, Omer, Kuzma, Aharon, Gefen) in need with backpacks and supplies at a cost of $100 per child. Please help us to reach our goal in providing every child with the tools needed to start the new school year! You can be the answer to someone’s prayer!
Living in Israel is very expensive. The cost of living is more than three times ours in the United States. The Olim (immigrants) are often escaping war or persecution, returning to the land God had given them in hopes of a better life for their families. They arrive with little in their pockets and seek help from anyone with the heart to understand what they are going through. They hear of our organization and our heart to help those answering God’s call to return to their homeland. We come alongside them, and they are so grateful to find out that they are cared about. It is always surprising to them to know there are people who love them and are willing to help in their time of need.
The ministry of kindness is an important one because it shows people that God is not just real but also the depth of His love by providing for their needs as a true Father would. We are seeing prophecies being fulfilled as the children of Israel return to the land given to their forefathers. You are part of God’s plan when you choose to partner with us to bring hope to His returning people. You can make a difference by supporting Aliyah and returning Jews to Israel. You can help provide them with the hope and future God promises to them.
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
